Weekends in my city!!!

One generally associates weekends with unwinding, going out and enjoying. But in the city i live, i cannot think of going out on the weekends. It seems as if the entire population of town has decided to come out and stay out late.
First the people here have no sense of traffic rules (i think they dont even know what it is all about). So there are accidents which lead to huge trafficjams (people who get stuck in these.... blow horns!! as if by blowing horns that trafficjam magically disappears!!). If you manage to get where you want to go, there is no place to park the vehicle. So you spend an hour driving around look for a spot. If you are lucky you will find one. By the time you actually do, you are tired and wish that you had never left the haven of your home.

If you have to shop do so on weekdays preferably wednesday or thursday.
If you must go out on weekends make sure you do so before noon.

Holi

Holi!!!! Just around the corner but dread fills my heart!!!! How much water will be wasted!!! Why can't people realise that it is the most precious resource...... and it is soon becoming scarce. If the books and experts are right... then the next war will not be for oil or anything else but WATER. Can we not make this festival dry and not waste water!!!
